This policy explains what personal information Anknovate IT Consultancy Services ("Anknovate IT", "we", "us") collects through anknovate.com, why we collect it, and the choices you have. We handle personal data in line with Ghana's Data Protection Act, 2012 (Act 843).

What we collect

• Contact form: your first and last name, email address, company (optional), area of interest, and the message you write.
• WhatsApp and email: if you contact us by WhatsApp or email, we receive the details you send, such as your phone number or email address and your message. WhatsApp is operated by a third party under its own terms.
• Technical data: like most websites, our web server records standard log information such as your IP address, browser type, pages requested and time of access. We use this to keep the site secure and working.
• Browser storage: the site stores your light or dark theme choice in your browser. This is not personal data and is not sent to us.

We do not currently use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies. If that changes, we will update this page first.

Third-party services

Our pages load fonts from Google Fonts. When your browser requests them, Google receives your IP address and basic browser details. Our site is hosted with a commercial web hosting provider, and email you send us passes through our email provider.

How we use your information

• To reply to your enquiry, including a one-time automatic confirmation email after you submit the contact form.
• To scope, quote and deliver services if you become a client.
• To protect the site against spam and abuse, and to meet legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your enquiry to add you to a marketing list without your agreement.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiries for as long as needed to respond and to keep a reasonable record of our communication. If we work together, we keep project records for as long as needed to support you and meet our legal obligations. You can ask us to delete your information at any time.

Your rights

You can ask us to confirm what personal information we hold about you, to correct it, to delete it, or to stop using it for a particular purpose. Email info@anknovate.com and we will respond within a reasonable time. You also have the right to complain to Ghana's Data Protection Commission.

Security

We use HTTPS across the site and apply technical and organisational measures to protect the information you send us. No online transmission is completely risk-free, so please avoid sending passwords or highly sensitive data through the contact form.

Children

Our services are for businesses and are not directed at children.

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it was last changed.
